Let’s be real—2025 is not doing your attention span any favors.

Between TikToks yelling at you to deep clean your house in 10 minutes, apps reminding you to hydrate, and inboxes that never sleep… your brain is exhausted.

So you ask yourself:

“Am I just distracted… or is this ADHD?”

Great question. Let’s start with what’s not ADHD.

The Modern-Day Distracted Brain (aka All of Us)

In 2025, we’re living in a never-ending scroll of stimulation.

Here’s what distraction looks like today:

Zoning out during Zoom calls

Starting 10 tasks, finishing none

Switching between 6 tabs with no memory of why

Forgetting what you were doing mid-task Feeling overwhelmed by normal to-do lists

This kind of distraction is environmental.

It’s a side effect of modern life, not necessarily ADHD.

But Here’s the Catch…

Just because your brain is short-circuiting doesn’t mean it’s disordered.

You can be distracted because you’re tired, burned out, over-notified, or simply human.

But ADHD? That’s a whole different operating system.

Stay tuned for Part 2 – ADHD in 2025 where we talk about how the ADHD brain works regardless of technology.
